BIBLE 21

February 13th - KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Rev Derek Tidball: former Principal of London School of Theology

Rediscovering the relevance and transforming power of the Bible in the 21st century
Run in partnership with Bible Society and Share Jesus International

We live in an age when an ever decreasing number of Christians in the UK read the Bible. The church is also in serious decline. Is there a correlation between the two? And has this most ancient of texts really got any relevance for 21st century life? Absolutely yes, and this day conference is designed to help us rediscover its relevance and equip us to engage with it in a way that transforms our lives.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Anybody who believes that the Bible is the central document of the Christian faith. This conference will help you understand the relevance of its message, equip you to understand it for yourself, and enable you to communicate it more effectively to others in our post-modern culture.

SEMINARS
All the seminars will be presented twice, so during the day you will have the opportunity to choose any 2 from the 3 options.

Seminar A: Word in One: Andy Twilley
Understanding the Bible’s big picture; Genesis to Revelation, Creation to the new heaven and the new earth. See how the different books connect with the Bible characters and how the whole fits onto an historic timeline.

Seminar B: Dot Tyler
“Innovative ways of encouraging and developing Bible usage amongst the Mosaic Generation (born between 1984 to 2002).”
Seminar C: Doing the Bible better - Rob Cotton

Come to see the latest research presented and useful resources. After the success of Hope 08, help Bible Society and Evangelical Alliance to shape the national campaign Bible Fresh and your church to be prepared for this exciting opportunity.
