A Call to Business is a wake up call to business people to realise that they are empowered by God to be ministers of the Gospel 7 days a week, that 24-7 they have authority in the Word of God and through his Spirit. Using every tool possible those who are on the journey seek to live out the Gospel both through personal transformation and through social action to see a counter-cultural movement challenging the status quo in society.
What do we see in the early church? Believers believed!!! Christ was real, he was for now, he was powerful, he changed everything and against the background of opposition and suffering the message of the Gospel spread like wildfire. The real, visible, vibrant, militant movement of Jesus’ followers shook the planet and truly, as Jesus said, so it was.
Paul Szkiler is Chairman of Truestone Asset Management PLC which currently manages over £300 million for private clients. It has a very active Employee Benefits Division advising both national and international companies on staff benefits, and a Private Finance Division.
He founded A Call to Business in November 2000. He is also a Director of a number of companies in the motor and property sectors and a board member of Christian trusts and charities.
