Overcoming Self Harm

This weekend offers hope to those who self harm. The program offered should provide delegates with the tools needed to take steps towards freedom from the pain and struggle of self harm.
Come and meet people who are going through similar struggles, share with a listener, attend teaching sessions and enjoy fellowship, worship and ministry.
Come and enjoy Mulberry’s comfortable accommodation, good food, beautiful grounds, animals and wildlife. The team leading the weekend and the staff at Mulberry House will make every effort to be sensitive to each individuals needs. There will be an opportunity to relax, swim, walk or do crafts.
We are aware that it may be difficult to come on such a weekend alone, so you are welcome to bring a friend or relative. There will be a session for carers to share together.

Kate is a psychologist working in a Hertfordshire church. From a medical background, she was previously director of Anorexia & Bulimia Care until 2008. Her passion is applying psychology to real life, enabling people to reach their full potential. She speaks across the country on a variety of topics and is author of several books, including Self Harm - the Path to Recovery (co-authored with Sara Garvie).
