Special Evenings at Mulberry
‘United with God’ - An evening with John Boyers Chaplain of Manchester United Football Club
Friday April 23rd
Just ahead of the football world Cup, this is going to be a great evening out for men. You’ll enjoy John’s humour, his DVD clips, and how he speaks of the relevance of faith in a way that is both challenging but not off putting. This is one to bring friends to with confidence – they won’t be turned off Christianity! – unless, perhaps, they subscribe to the ABU club. (Anyclub but United ). And for United fans this could be heaven, and a sign post to it!
Book for yourself and bring your friends.

An Audience with John Archer
Saturday November 6th
In a unique way, John Archer brings together an evening of fantastic comedy and illusions, with a very low key sharing of his faith. Ideal to bring non-christian friends to because they will go away having eaten well, seen some top class professional entertainment, and heard something of the relevance of the Christian faith to them.
John Archer has been working as a professional Comedy Magician for the past 13 years and was working semi-professionally for 10 years before that. Since turning professional John has won many awards both in the UK and abroad.
John now works in many areas performing Cabaret, Stage and Close up or Table Magic for a multitude of events and organisations including Corporate, Private, Theatre, Cruises and Television. As well as being top class performer John has also written and appeared in several Television shows. He has won many awards including The Magic Circle’s Stage Magician of the Year in 2008.
