More people are living longer. The fastest growing section of the population is the over 85’s! So it’s vital to have ‘A Christian View of Retirement’. What are the beliefs and values that cause the Christian to have a different view of retirement in today’s world, and what exciting possibilites might they lead to?

This day conference is designed for those facing retirement as well as those already retired. Michael and Andy will help unpack the beliefs and values that matter, with the hope that we shall end the day with an exciting vision for our own future. Remember ‘The best is yet to be!’

The day will include Bible teaching, as well as times of personal quiet and reflection, encouragement and ministry.

Michael is married to Stephanie. They have five children and eight grandchildren, (including triplets). Michael’s ministry has taken him to Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester and then to Woodford Green in Essex. Involved with the South American Mission Society for many years, he is currently editor of Living Light, and contributes to Living Word.
Andy Twilley is a Baptist minister who was in local church leadership for 13 years. This was followed by a three year period as Bible promotion manager with Scripture Union, and is currently a Director with the Nationwide Christian Trust. He is married to Louise and has three sons.

Andy has a real passion for the local church and a key aspect of his work is helping them become the vibrant communities God intended. He is eager to see faith presented in ways which are understandable and accessible and, whilst leading a local church, developed a series called ‘Agnostics Anonymous’, designed to help people with no belief, explore the truths of Christianity and come to understand the heart of the Christian message and enter into a relationship with God.
