Men's Breakfast
Continuing in our series of days for men, we have two excellent speakers whose stories will uplift and encourage men from all walks of life. Here is another opportunity to meet men from other Church Groups and share fellowship with them.
The morning begins with a full English Breakfast, served promptly at 9.00am (doors open 8.30am) followed by a time of Worship prior to our guest speakers sharing their experiences with us. The event will conclude by 11.30am.
February 20th - Stuart Pascall:
Stuart is Senior Team leader of Banbury Community Church, where God is doing exciting things through new expressions of Church for the wider community. He never wants to stop pushing the boundaries of the Kingdom forward; loves teaching and interacting with people – any people!
He is passionate about the grace of God, and as Yancey puts it ‘I want to trumpet that grace till the day I die’! He often wonders how much the Church has really got hold of that truth to the point of practising the generous grace that gives till it hurts!
Stuart’s very interested in Cars (background of Motor Trade) and has recently built a Caterham SV with son Jonathan – which has been a great Father/Son bonding experience, as well as a blast to drive! Also owns a TR6.....
This is sure to be a challenging and stimulating morning.
October 30th - Vic Jackopson
From his early years, Vic Jackopson had a tough life. Brought up in a highly disciplinarian orphanage, being moved from one foster family to another, he had no real sense of belonging. Turning to crime in his teens resulted in the inevitable consequence, prison.
Yet God had plans for this young man’s life and it was whilst in prison, Vic had an amazing conversion experience which completely turned his life around.
Be gripped and moved as Vic recounts his powerful story, and marvel at how God can bring about renewal and transformation in the most difficult of circumstances.
